Our Long & Short Game

Albatross Marketing is a fractional marketing partner for golf courses. We help operators fill tee sheets, strengthen golfer engagement, and grow clubhouse revenue through structured marketing systems—not disconnected tactics.

We function as your outsourced marketing department, integrating across acquisition, retention, and on-site experience so your course stays consistently booked, visible, and active.

15+ Years of Marketing Experience.
Built Across Complex Systems.

I bring over 15 years of B2C marketing experience across franchise, retail, hospitality, and consumer brand environments. I also have a few years experience working in a clubhouse, and know my way around the course.

My work has included leading regional commercial planning for Sleeman Breweries and managing full-scope marketing operations for a national restaurant franchise with 80+ locations across Canada.

Across every role, the focus has been the same: building systems that drive consistent customer behaviour across multiple locations.

This experience translates directly into golf operations, where consistency, timing, and local relevance all drive revenue.

Why Golf

Golf has been part of my life since childhood. My grandfather operated Golflands Golf Course in Richmond, BC, and introduced me to the game since I learned how to walk.

It was never just about learning how to play—it was about learning patience and spending quality time with family and friends.

The early morning dew on the first tee. The quiet stillness of the course allowing you to take in everything nature has to offer. The scent of fresh cut grass, and the sound of a mower shutting off in the distance as you step up to your ball. The rhythm of a game that slows you down just enough to notice everything. There’s a respect in that environment that stays with you. For the game, for the land, for the people you’re playing with. It feels, in its own way, like home.

That sense of place has never left me. I’m a lifelong golfer—and a pretty decent one—but more than that, I understand what draws people back to a course again and again. It’s not just the scorecard. It’s the experience around it: the familiarity, the ritual, the escape, the quiet reset from everything else.

That perspective shapes how I approach marketing today. Not as promotion, but as a designed experience, building the conditions that make people want to return.
